Maria Koullick, Sr. Director of Global Reimbursement and Healthcare Economics, Abbott Medical
Dr. Koullick is a high-performance leader with a demonstrated track record in the development and execution of global reimbursement, health economics and clinical strategies for Class II / III medical devices at Medtronic, St. Jude Medical and now Abbott Medical. Maria’s success is built on a unique blend of expertise in Reimbursement, Health Economics, Clinical Research and Quality Assurance.
In the recent years Maria has successfully developed global reimbursement strategies and led execution of tactical plans for Structural Heart and Vascular products. She is a frequent visitor at CMS to discuss clinical evidence required for IDE and commercial coverage. Maria also has extensive experience with private payers implementing multifaceted top-down and bottom-up campaigns, coordinated physician advocacy efforts, and targeted ﬁeld support. She has successfully developed, published and rolled out economic models and value dossiers.
Having lived and worked in Russia, Japan, Australia, the Netherlands and the US, Maria has developed valuable leadership experience in a wide variety of cultural settings.
Maria’s well-rounded and global experience serves well in her leadership role guiding Venture decisions with regards to global health economics and reimbursement considerations during due diligence, investment decisions as well as merger and acquisitions of Abbott Medical.
